Poppies
When Toben and I walk to Kindergarten we admire all the new flowers springing up. He was so proud of himself that he could identify Tulips, and Lilacs. This week he asked the name of the flower just beginning to bloom. When I told him it was a Poppy he actually laughed out loud and said that was the name of his Opa, which in German is Grandpa. It was such a sweet moment, you could see his little mind working and translating and getting his own little joke.

Time to Swim
It's so wonderful having this public pool here in our little village. It's about 1 mile away, and Naomi and Eyan are both old enough to ride their bikes down to the pool and stay as long as they want.
I don't think it's even hit 80 degrees here yet, but we are feeling so grateful for the blue skies and warmer weather. We have already been swimming more this month than we did the entire last year, so I got a pass hoping for more warm weather. Not that the kids spend the whole time in the pool anyways, but it feels wonderful to be outside after such a long winter.

Mrs. Booger
Naomi jointed Theater for school this year. This was one of the first times her school put on a play since there has not been much interest for threater in the past.
Naomi was the cook for a summer camp, where there was an unexpected murder. She played the part of Mrs. Booger, a funny cook who didn't cook so well. She did a great job remembering all of her lines, and playing the part.
Here she is being interrogated by the detective...... she was the murderer!
